The war of the races

The limb bashed Scott out of the air and then flung itself at it's attackers.

Jake dived out of the way in time, but the other three survivors were knocked into walls.

Jake must have shot it in the right spot, because when he fired, the limb went back underwater. (or wherever it came from)

Scott splashed against the wall, and began reforming himself. His liquidic body pulled back together, though the effort tired him a bit. The watery wolf spun to face the newcomers

Jake threw down his gun and kneeled over one of his partners still alive.
"Come on.. *sob* Don't die on me.. *sob* You can't...."
Jake put his head on her chest and started crying.

Scott rushed to the injured anthro. He put his paw on her chest, and his power flowed out of him and into her, closing the wound and staunching the bloodflow. Suddenly dizzy, the aquatic wolf slumped back on his haunches and panted.

"I.. love you..."
His partner muttered before she died.
Jake sobbed more, not speaking.

Despite Scott's efforts, the anthro died. The wolf whimpered and pushed his paw against the figure standing over her. This was becoming a very bad, very bloody, day.

Jake fell down on the dead anthro, sobbing, slowly crying himself to sleep.

Zaida stood there, for once, baffled by all the battles she felt pain, the anger and she turned to the new anthro's and her ears drooped. She reached for her dagger and grinned eerily, running for the lake with the creature inside it.

After a few minutes Jake strapped his shotgun to his back and picked up the dead anthro.
"W-Where are you guys headed to?"
He asked in between several sobs.

Zaida holted and turned to Jake. "Camps on the outskirts of the city, hidden, you'll have to leave the dead...as the only way there is through this here lake... and by defeating this mutant..." She repllied with a yell and with that she smiled, water her favourite playground. She dived in.

"She deserves a burial... Not like the these other theives.." He sighed, gesturing towards the other two partners.

The tentacle re-emerged and and swung itself at it's new opponent.

Jake quickly dashed to a dead end pipe and laid the body there, flipping out his shotgun and aiming at the new opponent.

Zaida was ignoring the tentacle and the water around her was cool, the rest of it began boiling as she dove deeper, swimming towards a cave where she saw more limbs "this is gonna suck...for you.." she grinned as the temperatures rose fast

Dat released his grip of the shotgun and let it dangle as he picked up the anthro's body.
"She can deal if it if she wants to.. Not gunna stop her.."

Melanie opened her eyes and jumped to her feet as she saw Zadia jump into the water, a tenticle rising over her friends back. Melanie shifted into a giant serpent and clamped her jaws around the tenticle, ripping it off and fell into the water and she sent a ripple of fire through the water that hit it.

A loud screech sounded as the limb was amputated. The water suddenly began to freeze.

Jake went wide eyed as he saw the water below him freeze.
He ran to a small pipe and put his feet against the walls beside him, still holding himself and his partner up.

Scott dove into the water, flowing through it beside Zaida. The wolf focused his strength, and his teeth froze into sharp, hard spikes. The canid clamped down on the nearest arm, pulling it away from Zaida so she could advance easier.

Jake yelled a curse loudly.
"Why is this war even happening...!?"
He asked while working himself over the water.

Melanie struggled as the water around her begun to freeze.

Jake worked his way through the tunnels, trying to find the exit.
"FORGET ABOUT THE LIMB! JUST GO!!"
He yelled at the people he just met.

Zaida finally reached inside the cave and she whispered so only her and the creature could hear "You're dead crab..." Her eyes leered and then the water unfroze, beginning to boil, most of the incredibly hot water around the crab like mutant creation, she headed for the creature, running purely on adrenaline...

A large mechanical pincer shot out of the entrance and grabbed the Tiger. In one swift movement it pinned her to the ground. The water in the cave then started draining.
