The war of the races

After it had drained Jake ran for a light that came from the top of the tunnel.
"FORGET ABOUT IT! COME ON!!"

Zaida stabbed the pincer as it pinned her down, the metal scratching open her arm and she hissed, the water beginning to rise again, curcling around the beast and it began to compress "No man made crap can control my element!" The pimb that pinned her down began to snap and crack at the pressure

Another tentacle wrapped around Zaida's throat and squeezed as two more wrapped around her body squeezing as well, attempting to break her concentration as the creature tried to drain the water.

Jake scowled and put the body on the ground through the manhole.
"Damnit..."
He ran to the water and dived in, searching for the woman in danger.

"Human filth..." She struggled to breathe and hissed. She found the creatures eyes and glared into them, her body relaxing and her eyes turned a deep violet, her body liquifying and turning into the water that surrounded them and she began circling the creature with the water form that she was, constricting around it and listening as it cried out in pain, it's outer shell cracking and breaking wth the pressure of the water ball.

The creature did the only thing it could do at this point, run. It quickly began to swim to the surface hoping to get on dry land and away from the Tigress.

The creature wasn't able to move, in its determination to run, Zaida was too determined to let it go and her vortex like barrier kept it from moving, and it began to crush inside on itself. She could see it was half machine half animalistic, octapus like. She saddened and decided, it needed to be put out of its misery..

Screams of agony drifted through the water as the creatures acid like blood leaked out of the formed cracks in it's shell.

Zaida's water form split from the vortex and she re-solidified. Making it quick, the screams were silenced as a loud crack was heard. "may you choose a better life..." Zaida wiped the water off of her face and placed her dagger and gun fittingly into their resting place in her coat. "I JUST MADE US A WAY OUT!"

Todd ran up and looked at the water nervously.

Zaida let the waster drain out now and she looked up at Todd. "S'ok buddy, he's gone..."

"Ok..." Todd said preparing to climb down into the hole.

Dat sighed.
"OR YOU COULD TAKE THE EASIER MANHOLE RIGHT HERE!"
He yelled, climbing out of it.
"Somethin strange about these people I do not like.."
He muttered under his breath.

"THAT'S NOT WHERE WE'RE GOING MATE!"
Zaida looked pleased with herself as she looked up at Todd. "lead the way..."

Todd nodded and climbed down into the hole and led the group furhter into the tunnel.

"Then where are you going!?"
He yelled back.

Melanie still as the large serpent staggered after them.

Zaida replied to Jake happily "To safety!" and she leapt into the tunnel, following closely behind Todd and Melanie.

Todd ran deeper into the cave. Not looking behind him.

Jake looked up the manhole, and down the lower hole.
"Stuff it.. Mind if I come with you?"

Zaida shrugged and continued to follow Todd... "How far is it... do you know what lies ahead?"

Jake slung the body over his shoulder and followed the group.

"Shouldn't be too far. Just past this cave."

Melanie looked back on the group and with a painful shudder, shifted back.

"How long until we get, 'there'?"
Jake asked as he walked behind the group.
