The Clash of the Immortals

The cold feeling returned once more. "Not giving you the chance!" Jericho moved his hand toward the dark god focusing his flames towards his hands. Fire emerged from his hand like a stream, towards the Screaming Dark God

The shooting flames scorched her face, forcing her to let go. She sprung into the air angrily. Unable to see, she crashed into a tree and then clung to its trunk She hissed cold breath over her face to put out the flames. She glared down at Jericho.
"Grumor! Little help here?"

Jericho focus the flames to his hands once more "Eat this!" Throwing a ball of flames at the Screaming Dark God.

Vaughn saw it coming this time and screeched again, and the flames turned to steam and water raining down only inches from her. She flinched as some of the scalding water splattered on her fur.

Jericho stared coldly at her. He goes into a stance, brings his hands together, and breather in deeply. Jericho begins to throw another fire ball that was a size of a fire ball.

She dove off the tree, swooping toward Jericho, making sure she aimed her hiss perfectly, and breathed directly on the ball of fire in his hands just before she angled away. The fire disappeared from his hands, and this time the ice was able to get through to his arms, which went rigid up to his shoulders.

"Nice try" Jericho proclaimed as the huge fire ball still went threw. Still aimed at her

It only scorched her right wingtip as she angled away, but it was enough to make her flutter aimlessly into another tree. She charged over the ground toward Jericho who was partially frozen.

Grumor leaped forward then, hiding in the shadows and onto Jericho's back, sinking his poisonous fangs into his back, Grumor lept off and retreated back into the shadows, shooting globs of webbing at Jehrico's feet, "My apoligies Vaughn I was preoccupied with the humans." where the humans once stood was a mess of webbing and poison goo along with speared bodies lying around the path that the human had created.

Ethalyn jumped off the balcony and evaporated into the white light and vanished out of that dimension. She reappeared in a flash of light on the island in the middle of the lake and she lifted her head and howled to the sky then suddenly as she did the moon and the stars shined brighter.

As Vaughn sank her teeth in Jericho's throat, his front legs currently unable to move, she heard a very disturbing howl coming from somewhere in the forest and it distracted her for an instant.

She launched off the island and flew up into the air and hung before the brightly shining moon and a sharp bright light washed from her and over the forest.

Grumor receded into the shadows, hiding from the light "Another light god..." Grumor said as the wolf hung in midair in front of the moon.

Pain filled Jericho's body as both the poison and teeth penetrates his body No, I have failed them. Flashes of joyous memories filled Jericho mind as he embraced the pain, Flashes of newly wedded couple, of children playing. The more the memories came the angrier he became. The pain became his fuel for his fire. Soon Jericho's fire filled his whole body, "I will" he muttered as he began to glow. Intense heat filled the area. "I WILL AVENGE YOU POOR SOULS!" With that a bright yellow flash blinded those near him then KABOOM!!! The blast took out 2 kilometer of the surrounding area.

Once grumor had regained his eyesight he was blinded again and this time sent flying backwards, he eventually slammed into a tree, he skittered into the shadows once more, concocting a plan.

As the explosion enveloped Vaughn and threw her up into the sky, she snapped open her wings and flew furiously straight up, trying to outfly it as it mushroomed. Her entire body was on fire and in severe pain, and her thin wings were now ragged with holes. She tried to stay aloft but her wings couldn't hold her much longer.

Ethalun howled again and soared over the forest, a trail of light following her.

Grumor looked up from a hole in the trees, Vaughn was in trouble, but he was pushed too far away because of the blast to do anything immediately so he leapt across the tree branches, trying to do soemthing as the shockwaves fought against him.

Vaughn sensed another quickly approaching light god's presence. Her wings gave out and she began to fall. She caught in the top of a spindly evergreen tree, which swayed with her weight and then was still. Clinging to it, she licked and blew her icy breath all over her body until the fire was put out.

Ethalyn flew over the dark god, the wind from her wings causing the tree to sway.

Grumor leaped high off one more branch and caught sight of the two, he latched onto the tree with webbing and began to pull himself up.

Vaughn clung to her tree, snapping her head up to see the winged wolf, and a shudder went through her. She could sense that this was no ordinary light god, the presence was stronger and more disturbing than it should have been.

Grumor silently skittered up next to vaughn and shot webbing at the light god's wings.

The light god banked around again, coming at Vaughn, her maws open in a feral snarl.

Grumor lept forward and grabbed onto Ethalyn's back trying to poison her.
