"Why is Reaver doing that?" Nyy said, her voice shaking and tears gathering in her eyes.

"The Shadow Gods demand it...."

She shuddered and ducked her head under her wing.

"I'm sorry miss.....But even Reaver's a slave....."

Nyy didnt reply and looked up at the two suns, the tears on her muzzle sparkling in the light.

Ben looked down and stared at the ground....He felt.....odd....light headed.....His eyes then rolled into the back of his head and he plummeted off the giant, winged were-wolf.

Laura saw this and she dived off Melanie's back and caught Ben.

Ben layed in an awkwerd pose looking up with wide eyes but not saying anything.

The serpent dragon flew back up and curled up on the top of Melanie's head, staring at the bat intently.

He continued to give that blank glassy stare.

Dander climbed up to Melanie's head where the others were and sniffed at the bat.

Antonidas was quite injured, he had not expected such power, but when he first saw the flames around the prisoner's body he put up a flame ward, the ward he had put up before the confrontation absorbed all the heat and flame in front of Antonidas, it was the shock-wave that had pushed him back and slammed him into the wall, breaking a few bones. The ward also prevented the explosion from demolishing Reaver's castle, only the wall behind the prisoner was blasted open, along with that whole wall of the castle. "Insolent FOOL!" Antonidas stood up and supported himself with the wall, placing up more wards, being more careful this time and attacked the prisoner. "You have no idea what you have just done!" Antonidas let forth a might blast of electricity, but he bent space around it so it curved, to the surprise of the prisoner. "You'll die for thinking you can defeat me, whelpling!" he yelled, he was indeed injured from a attack like that and he was not near full power, he needed to retreat and heal himself, but once he did he would hunt down these prisoners and plant their heads on stakes.

Nyy curled around the bat and tried to heal him the best she could, hoping that it would work.

Jericho just laughed maniacally at what seemed to him empty threats "You go ahead, I will be waiting" And laughed some more as he threw fire in random directions. Black smoke formed out of nor where then imploded on itself in front of the guard, forming a person. Ho'ne stepped out of the smoke as it continues to follow him
Ho'ne: Brother we should leave now. I think we spent too much time here.
Jericho: Yea, this place was too boring, that guard is interesting though. He manage to survive my blast! *Jericho giggles with excitement. Ho'ne looked at the guard and walked towards him. He placed his fingers under his chin and lifted his body without choking him he looked at him square in the eye*
Ho'ne: Tell me guard, what is your name?

Antonidas was weak, How could I be so foolish and leave myself unguarded to that blast... "Antonidas.." He spoke with venom in his words, although he was too weak to do anything right now. They don't know who I am, they think I'm a guard.

Ho'ne: Well then, Antonida. *Ho'ne slowly let him down to the ground, unphased by his word* You best get stronger if you wanna bet my brother. *He turned back on him as he walked towards his brother and by his side* And you must be even stronger to beat me *With those last words black smoke filled the air and imploded on itself once more. Jericho laughed manically as they left*

Antonidas fell to his knees as they left, they were incredibly strong, and if he was going to defend the throne against THAT? he would need to be better, he limped his way back towards his study where he healed himself and began to study the book he had found, he placed it one his desk and began to read.

Antonidas closed the book shut, the dark haze surrounding it disappeared, but Antonidas was altered somehow, his eyes were pure black, and black bolts of something that looked like electricity jumped across his fur over and over again. "Lets see them try and take this castle now." he said with a smirk, he sent out a mental message to all occupants in the castle "Reaver has put me in command as of now, You will follow my orders, full on defenses, bring out everything we've got, there will be an attack coming." Every mind in the castle heard the message, and they all knew who spoke it. Antonidas sat in Reaver's throne, placing his palms at the edge of the armwrests. Around the castle there would be flashes or flickers, Antonidas was placing up his defenses.
